Welcome to International Oncology Centre@ Fortis Noida

International Oncology has commenced operations at its first centre at Fortis Hospital Noida.The centre will have comprehensive cancer care facilities including the state-of-the-art IGRT infrasructure for radiation therapy.Medical and Surgical oncology services have already begun since 2nd February.

A separate new Oncology tower is under construction at the hospital and will house the radiation facility as well as the other services for medical oncology and our upcoming Bone Marrow transplant programme.

Dr. Ashvini Sengar
Dr. Sengar is a seasoned hematologist and medical oncologist and is American Board certified in both the specialties as well as Internal Medicine and before moving back to India, successfully ran a large and successful cancer care company in US called Nebraska Cancer Care. Though he has a wide-ranging expertise in all aspects of medical oncology and Hematology, Dr Sengar is a leading expert in Breast cancer and Lymphoma. He has frequently appeared on health/ oncology segments in various TV programs in US and been at the forefront of a various local cancer agencies in the US.

Dr. Amit Agarwal
Having trained at AIIMS in Medical Oncology (DM), Dr. Agarwal is an outstanding Medical Oncologist of national repute with several years of experience in India and UK. After finishing his DM in Medical Oncology, he worked at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, before leaving for UK. He worked as a Medical Oncologist at Addenbroke's Hospital in Cambridge and passed his MRCP with flying colours. He then worked at Batra Hospital for a few years and significantly contributed to the Medical Oncology program there before joining the International Oncology team.

Dr. Rakesh Ojha
Dr. Ojha is a leading expert in the Bone Marrow transplant area and will set our BMT programme. He is American Board certified in both Haematology and Medical Oncology but chose to work predominantly as a Bone Marrow Transplanter in the USA. He has many years of experience in the field of Oncology, Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant. He is widely published in various Hematology/ Oncology journals. He is also the recipient of various Scholarships and awards in this field including the the Prestigious Amgen Grant for clinical research. He has also worked in the coveted field of Cord blood transplant.

Dr. Rajeev Kumar
Dr. Rajeev Kumar is a senior surgical oncologist trained at King George's Medical College Lucknow and has worked at the Rajiv Gandhi cancer Institute and Rockland Hospital Delhi as a consultant...He has vast experience of over fifteen years in extensive cancer surgeries of head and neck, Gastrointestinal tract and Gynenocological oncology.. He has published many papers in National and International journal and was speaker in many International and national conferences.

Dr. Jalaj Baxi
Dr. Baxi is a senior Surgical Oncologist trained at GCRI, Ahmedabad and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY. He has been trained in Japan for Laparocsopic oncology surgery. He has more than fifteen years of teaching experience and had been working as Professor and Chief Surgical Oncologist at the Manipal Hospital. He has expertise in surgery for GI, colorectal and solid organ cancers. His interest is in Laparoscopic oncology surgery.

Dr. Mukta Baxi
Dr. Mukta is Surgical Endocrinologist and Breast Surgeon. After completing PDC (Breast and Endocrine Surgery) from SGPGI , Lucknow she had been further trained in Germany,Japan and USA for minimally invasive endocrine Surgery. She has more than fifteen years of teaching experience and had been working as Professor at the Manipal Hospital, She has expertise in surgery for Thyriod and Breast Disease and for adrenal, thymus glands. She has been speaker at many international conferences

Dr (Capt) Leena Dadhwal Sena Medal,I has gained her experience in surgical oncology from the eminent institutes of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Center and Rockland Hospital Specially trained in Laparoscopic Surgery for 3 yrs with a view to use the skills in the development of Minimal Access Surgery in Oncology.She has seven years experience in cancer surgeries of oral cavity, neck, thorax, GIT,Urology, breast and gynaecology.
