The techniques used for diagnosis may include but are not limited to Tissue Biopsy, Special testing on the tissue, Blood testing (including tumor markers), X-Rays, CT Scans, MRI Scans, Nuclear Scans including Bone Scan and PET scan. Huge strides have been made in the field of diagnosing Cancer but a lot of those modalities are not available in the developing countries.
